Affectionally known as Bucky, Winter Soldier is from our first crop of foals by homebred stallion Darshill Falcon, a prolific winner in hand. He is out of beautiful homebred mare Darshill Psylocke, both parents have been successfully shown in hand. Bucky has been shown with his mother three times this season and is easy to do in every way.

Aneka marked a significant mile stone for the stud. She is the first foal by a home bred stallion out of a home bred mare. Her sire Falcon aka Jessie has now been castrated and is about to embark on his ridden career as a child's pony, and his dam Shuri is also away being backed now Aneka has been weaned. We plan to keep Aneka to continue Falcon's bloodline within the herd.

Cosmo comes from the least well represented foundation mare line within the breed, as of 2023 there are only three direct female line descendants of OA/49Heatherglow. all of whom are resident at Darshill Exmoor Stud. Cosmo will be retained as a broodmare to help improve the representation of the bloodline within the breed.

MJ was our second arrival of 2023, by multi champion home bred stallion Darshill Falcon out of champion in hand and ridden mare Coedywern Quince. Absolutely top class she was picked out by a new owner early on and moved to Merseyside to start a new breeding herd. It is hoped that she will be out showing in young stock classes in 2024.

Spectrum, now known as Bonnie arrived a month early on the day of the Manchester Marathon! After her foal inspection she joined a new family where it is hoped she will become an all round family pony. We hope to see her out showing in 2024.

Ruby is absolutely an absolutely top class youngster with plenty of attitude, which likely comes from her great grandmother Lofteleis who stood champion at Exford Show many years ago. Although on the smaller side she has plenty of quality and moves very well. Her mother was sold to a new breeding herd in the south of England so Ruby will continue the bloodline within the stud.

America is the second filly foal retained from the stud out of Quelea, a very prolific winner in hand when she was show at the Dunkery stud on exmoor. America is a full up to height filly who has yet to be shown We hope to have her out in hand as a two year old in 2024.

Mantis was born in the lockdown period of 2020 so she took part in several online photo competitions and shows. She was shown as a yearling in 2021 winning the young stock class at Cheshire County. In 2023 she was professionally produced by Liam Priestley. She won the young stock class at Cheshire County and stood Reserve Champion to Chelsea Fallows Senior winner Darshill Yondu, she was Reserve Youngstock at NPS Area 5 Spring Show and stood breed Champion at Great Yorkshire Show. She will run with stallion Lovstakken in 2024 as she is one of the last three direct female line descendants of foundation mare OA/49 Heatherglow.
